Our Fourth of July was great! In the morning, we went to a TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party/Rally. It was good but we read the time wrong, so we missed most of it. But we did get to talk to a pastor who preached there and actually met and talked to President Reagan in the day about revival in our country. Pretty cool. Also, he gave us the shirts we are wearing in the pictures below. We got signed up to get informational emails from the organization We The People. Micah and I are tired of complaining about how our government is running America, and not working for the American people, so we are becoming active to DO SOMETHING.
After our "activism" ;), we went on base to watch the fireworks. It was the BEST fireworks show EVER! Both Micah and I agree. It was hardly crowded where we were, the bathrooms were close but not too close for the smell factor, there was an ice cream truck very close, and the mosquitos were almost non-existent. Awesome.
