Micah's New Truck
We traded the Saturn minivan straight up with a guy locally, for this...
Micah's new truck! I'm driving the white work van, now turned into a passenger van. It's working out great! Micah loves his truck. He is a truck guy...not a minivan guy. ;)
Our New Dog Lady
Lady is our newest addition to our family. She is a mixed bloodhound/black lab. She is a sweet girl. We have had her for about a month or so. In just a few weeks time, she learned her name, sit, stay, come, lay down, to walk with a loose leash, to "heel", and to get a ball and bring it back and drop it. She is smart, but stubborn. We love her and she loves to be loved. She is doing well going to the bathroom outside but sometimes I miss her cues, and she has an accident. She has grown so much already since we got her four weeks ago. The first two pics are the first night we got her.
These next two pics are about a week after we got her.
And these last pics were just a few days ago.
She is getting big...fast! She is suppose to be around 80lbs. full grown. She just got spayed last Tuesday. The first week was crazy! It was like having a newborn again. But, it quickly became normal and routine for all of us. Malachi and Zach help a lot- Malachi especially. We are training pretty rigorously now, so she will be a great family member for the years to come. Lady will be great company for me, and (I hope) a sense of security, when Micah is deployed and the kids are asleep and it's quiet and late. We are happy to have Lady a part of our family!
Jeremiah is Crawling
Here is Jeremiah on April 10th. This was his first time crawling, caught on camera. He was 8 months old.
And here is Jeremiah just one month later, May 10th, at 9 months old! He's cruising!
As you can imagine, now yet another month later and another month older, he is super fast. He is now pulling himself up and just starting to walk along things. He has two teeth now, on the bottom. He is still so smiley. He is demanding when it comes to eating. He does best with table foods he can pick up on his own. (I am actually writing a caption because I'm waiting for the videos to upload!)

Winners of the Gingerbread House Contest!
The boys and I entered a Gingerbread house contest. The boys did a lot on it, and had a great time! It went well, and we won!! There was a lot of great gingerbread houses to compete against! Thanks to Grandma Lynn for buying all of the supplies!

Jeremiah Talking

Jeremiah and Great Grandpa
I was so happy to be able to see my Grandpa. His health is failing and so I'm glad I got to see him on my trip back to MN. I hope to see him and my Grandma again at Christmas time. I was also happy to introduce their 5th great grandchild to them. Grandpa seemed to enjoy him.!

Tic, Tac, Toe-three in a row! Our niece Chloe, our boy Jeremiah, our other niece Johnye Rose "Rosie". All born just weeks apart from each other. So happy to meet them on my weekend to MN.
Every child of ours has to get into the camo at an early age. Here is Jeremiah.
Malachi and his Kindergarten work. He finished the seven days of creation. We have also completed lessons about the sun (Jesus is the light of the world), the moon (I am the light of the world), and onto the Leaf (I will live and grow in Jesus).
