Selection Starts For Micah

So Micah has officially started what is the hardest of the hard, what all this previous training has been for-he has started the Special Forces Selection Course. It is the most INTENSE 19 days of his training. It all boils down to this. If he doesn't quit, and the SF drill Sergeants select him, he will be allowed to continue training to become the Army's "best of the best", a Green Beret. So there is a lot riding on these next 19 days. Each week he does something new. Here are some general prayer requests and then below are some specific requests for this first week. Please lift him up in prayer. He has done amazing so far and our prayers have been heard and answered thus far! Thank you all for standing in prayer for him and our family. We appreciate it!

General Prayer Requests for the next 19 days:
1) His boots to stay dry and no blisters. This is an important thing since he will be marching and running every day, all day.

2) Strength physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

3) For Micah's body to recover quickly from one day to the next. There are no nights or weekends off. So pray for his sleep to be great and for his body to recover while he sleeps.

4) For health and no injuries

5) For determination, endurance and perseverance.

6) For Micah to lean on Jesus at this time for all these things!

This week's requests:
1)For it to not rain all week long, like the forecast says!

Here is a general idea of what's in store for Micah this week. Most of this stuff I don't know any details of. So just pray however God leads!

Week 1:
Physical fitness test
Swim assessment
Rucksack Marches
Run Assessments
Medical briefing
And some tests on paper

He is not allowed to talk to us until the training is over. So pray for us too!

Thanks everyone!
